The name "Huntington Beach" was chosen because railroad builder William C. Rindge was from the town of Huntington, Massachusetts. In 1867, Rindge and his wife donated land to the Southern Pacific Railroad so they could build a railroad through the area. The population of Huntington Beach grew quickly after William Wallace Guthrie built a wharf and coal mine here in 1867. By 1880, over 1,000 people lived in Huntington Beach. In 1883, oil was discovered near Huntington Beach which brought even more people to the city. The name was changed from "Rindge" to "Huntington Beach" in 1930 because there was already a town named Rindge, California. The city of Huntington Beach was incorporated on September 5th, 1963. The first mayor was George Freeway Price. There are over 50 parks in the city covering 1,200 acres. That's about 2% of the total city area!

Looking for us? If you’re starting from Huntington Beach, you will need to hop on the 55 freeway heading North. From the 55 North, you can either take the 91 freeway going East or the 5 freeway heading North to the 57 going North. Either the 91 East or the 5 North & 57 North will take you to the 15 freeway. You will find our new and used dealer location right off the 15 freeway and 2nd Street in Norco, California.
If you are exiting from the 15 North, you will need to make a left and we are right there after the bridge!
