Tareq AbuZaineh, CMO of the Aaron Auto Group, announced the Norco Dodge Jeep dealership will sponsor the Horse Town Brew n’ Que Festival and its youth activities, in Norco, CA. The family friendly festival is host to California’s largest professional barbeque competition featuring celebrity chef, Robert Sierra. Sierra is the founder, head cook, and face of the S&S Pit Crew, a competition barbecue team from San Marcos, Texas. His appearance symbolizes a long tradition of rivalry and respect between California and Texas barbecue pitmasters.

The Horse Town Brew n’ Que Festival is California’s largest barbeque contest. Contestants travel thousands of miles to compete as the event is considered the premiere barbeque contest in California. It has attracted international barbeque competitors as well as celebrity chefs from Australia and Mexico and pitmasters seen on television shows featured on Netflix and the Food Network. The event is sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbecue Society (KCBS), the world’s largest organization dedicated to barbeque. The contest includes both adult pro and backyard series competitions.

Now in its’ 9th year, the Brew n’ Que Festival highlights a variety of food, live entertainment and craft beer while taking a backdoor peak into the world of competition barbeque. Nearly 40 barbecue teams will compete for thousands of dollars in cash, prizes and most importantly, bragging rights. The family friendly event offers craft beer sampling from award winning brewers and attendees can sample and purchase barbeque which is prepared on site.

Brew n’ Que also hosts a classic car show, a rock-climbing wall, a petting zoo as well as an arts and crafts table for young people. A free kid cooking class and Kids Que, a kids barbecue competition is offered for registered youth ages six to sixteen.

Brew n’ Que’s high-profile soundtrack is a backdrop of live music and entertainment featuring Blues, Pop, R&B and Country music. The Paul Chense Band will shake it up with their unique approach to rock. Grammy nominated Blues legend, Ray Brooks and the Bluzmasters and Laurie Morvan take blues to a higher level. The Bay area’s acclaimed super band, the Caravan of All Stars, bring finger popping R&B and Funk. Headlining on June 1st is Country music and crowd favorite, Brad Johnson and the Killin’ Time, who will keep the guests kick’n in their boots and musical icon, LITTLE WILLIE G, voice of THEE MIDNITERS, whose chart-topping hits “Land of a 1000 Dances” and “Whittier Blvd” are legendary classics.

The featured celebrity pitmaster is a true Texan. Sierra has traveled throughout the United States and Mexico, showcasing his award-winning Texas barbecue. When he is not competing, he is a frequent cookbook contributor. As a product pitchman, Sierra has represented Heinz barbeque, Royal Oak Charcoal and most recently, Videl and their Santa Maria style grills. As a television guest, he has been featured on Travel Channel’s BBQ Crawl and All You Can Meat television series. During Sierra’s appearance on Jimmy Kimmel live, he smoked ribs and shared his BBQ-sauce expertise with Kimmel. What started as a family activity with his father and brother in 2005 has grown into an internationally recognized brand with over scores of Grand and Reserve Championships and media and personal appearances.
